We are in the homestretch of this school year. Sports for the highschool are winding down, and conditioning for next year has already started.
With both of my kids involved in highschool sports this year, I have learned a lot of things, good and bad. I have learned that both of my younger kiddos have a strong desire to be the best they can be in their respective sports. I have learned that you don't have to always win to have fun and learn something. I have learned a lot about sports that I have never played, or never played well. I have learned I love watching my kids play even more than I ever have.
I have also learned that teammates and parents of teammates can be real jerks.
Jealousy is huge, they really need to get over that shit!
With that being said, bring on barrel racing season, and travel ball season!
